Nezhinsky mining and processing complex on the basis of the Starobinsky potash salt deposit

6 km south-west of the city of Luban, there is a new mining and processing complex with the production capacity from 1.1 to 2.0 million tons of potassium chloride per year using the raw material base of the Nezhinsky complex (eastern part) of the Starobinsky potash salt deposit. It is to be put into operation within 3 years. And now we are back to the facility where Stroitegia is a contracting organization to speak about the project status.

In parallel with active mine development, where shaft sinking operations are performed using the SBR mechanized complexes, unique for Europe, the infrastructure required for the future enterprise is being created on the surface.

In the building of the cage shaft, the mine hoist is being installed, which includes the installation of the shaft, support bearings, drums, brake system, drum locking device and an alternating current synchronous motor.

And in the building of lifting machines of the skip shaft, the installation of metal structures and sandwich panels is currently underway.

Let us proceed to the building of the main fans and the air heater ventilation units, where the metal structures are installed, the monolithic floor slabs are cast, and where the filling of the ventilation ducts is gradually completed. Currently, they are 90% ready.

Apart from the construction of auxiliary buildings for the future mine, our team is also carrying out the construction of heated airbridge No. 1. Here, sandwich panels and metal structures, waterproofing and roof insulation, and a vapor barrier are being installed.

And, of course, at the same time we carry out landscaping of the  adjacent territory. The facility's signboard has been installed, the installation of lighting poles and lamps, as well as flagpoles, has been completed.
